Sakaenoyashiro Shrine

The shrine is dedicated to the famous Shungaku Matsudaira who was a wise ruler at the end of the Edo period.
He named the shrine Saekae no Yashiro (Shrine of Sakae) praying for the prosperity of Fukui.
